The view
The great room is two stories tall, and the front of the cabin is almost all glass. From the sofa, the kitchen island, or the loft rail, you're looking out over the treetops to the ridgelines of the Great Smoky Mountains.
Townsend calls itself the Peaceful Side of the Smokies. It's a small town with no traffic-jam strip, and the park entrance is just down the road.
“This cabin is beautiful and the views are unbeatable. I appreciated feeling like we were away from the crowds too. Would stay again.”Eve W. · March 2026
Inside
Three floors of knotty pine, with a place for everyone to land at the end of the day.
